MASSAGE
We ask a lot from our horses - massage is a way that we can give back. Benefitting almost every horse, massage can ease tension, improve circulation and the lymphatic system, restore stagnant energy (chi), release chronic or acute muscle spasms, hasten recovery during or after heavy work or help to prevent injury before heavy work. You don't have to take our word for it, in most cases many horses are very expressive during a massage and show obvious signs of release and relaxation. At present, we are certified in and offer Shiatsu and Relaxation massages. In the future, we will be offering sports massage with a Jack Meagher approach. Ideally, massages should be given in a quiet environment without distractions. It is not necessary for the owner to be present to hold the horse but is absolutely fine if this is a preference.
30 or 60 Minute Relax & Release (60 minute includes aromatherapy & light stretches)
This massage is designed to completely relax and soothe the horse while boosting circulation and releasing tension. Its a great introduction for horses new to massage as well as those who have recently gone through a stressful event.
90 Minute Shiatsu & Acupressure
Using a variety of strokes covering the major meridians and acupressure points, the 90 minute shiatsu is used to release stagnant chi and re-establish balance and flow of energy.
